There's a number of series that we'd really like to review here on Republibot, but we just don't have the manpower to handle it.

Specifically, there are two series on Syfy coming up that we'd love to cover, but kind of can't: "Eureka" and "Warehouse 13." Unless we can find someone amongst our readers to cover them, I'm afraid neither of 'em are going to be reviewed here, and that's a shame as we were pretty dedicated to both series last year. We'd really like to be able to do that again.

So why should you do it? Well, certainly not for the money, that's fer darn sure. We can't pay you. But the other reasons are an almost-adequate substitute for cash:

1) It's fun! You get to talk about your favorite shows, point out stuff you noticed, ask questions about stuff you didn't quite get.

2) You get the instant ego gratification of knowing that your stuff is seen by around five hundred people a day. Remember all those wannabe journalists from the school newspaper? How many of them do you think are getting read by 500 people a day? Or even two? Exactly right: probably none. So if you blog here, you win! You've beaten them! Self-important buncha' jerks...

3) If you have your own blog, this is good exposure for it. If you're thinking of starting your own blog, this is good experience on how to operate and write for one, and how to come up with content more substantial than "Here's my collection of ticket stubs!"

4) You get to talk to a cool bunch of people who hang out here and comment a lot.

5) There is no fifth thing

6) Did I mention it's sort of cool?\

7) Ignoring Eureka and Warehouse 13, which are our principle concerns at the moment, if *you've* got a genre show you like, and you want to cover it, we're probably open for that as well. Pitch the idea to us, and we'll probably say yes.
