Dynamite comic has announced that they are releasing 'Warlord of Mars' the first John Carter of Mars novel as a comic in October. The first issue will have a special price of a buck to get people into Mars.

Curious. I wrote up a reply for this a few days ago, and posted it, yet it's gone.
Well, anyway, I was gonna' say that ERB's Mars has generally actually been sexier than this. Holding it down to be only *this* sexy has always been a problem, given that everyone is naked all the time (Except for the occasional harness...yikes!) and all the women look like even curvier Raquel Welch clones...
For all that, the stories are entirely chaste. I totally get the reasoning behind that, but it's pretty odd-seeming in retrospect.
