Cheat and Read the Scripts to this Fall's Science Fiction Shows Online Now!

Ok, this site has put the first draft scripts for a whole bunch of series that haven’t premiered yet on TV. Four of them are either flat-out Science Fiction, or at least Science Fiction-ey. Check 'em out under the jump!
- “Kings” is a modern-day retelling of the story of King David bar Jessie, set in an alternate history version of America. This sounded fascinating to me when I first heard of it six months ago, and I’m happy to learn that despite the high-concept nature of it, it’s still in production. Here’s the pilot script: http://www.docstoc.com/docs/3236354/Script_Kings_1x01_-_Goliath
- Joss Whedon’s new show, “Dollhouse,” has been picked up by Fox, which means it’ll be cancelled by Fox inside of six weeks. Why wait to the last minute to get pissed off? Just go here to read the pilot script now http://www.docstoc.com/docs/3236356/Script_Dollhouse_1x01_-_Echo
- Now that Battlestar Galactica is ending, leaving the much-hated Sci Fi channel with nothing to abuse their fans with, they’ve decided to start a pointless prequel-series based on a script that’s been sitting on the shelf for three years now. It’s called “Caprica” and you can real the overwhelming “Why should I even botherness” of it all here http://www.docstoc.com/docs/3236362/Script_Caprica_pt1
- Finally, and undoubtedly least impressively, we come to “Boldly Going Nowhere,” the first science-fiction themed Sitcom since…uhm….I’m pretty sure it was “Homeboys in Outer Space” (Remember that one?). And prior to that it was “Mork and Mindy,” and prior to that it was “Quark,” I believe. Ok, so there’s a lot of low cards in that hand, I’m not expecting much out of it, but here it is just the same: http://www.docstoc.com/docs/3236375/Script_Boldly_Going_Nowhere_1x01_-_P...

Still can't vote. Tried the stars at the top and at the bottom, but still nothin'.

You shouldn't vote on your own content. You can, however, vote on MINE.
Are you using the stars at the BOTTOM of the blog or story?
Geez. Just 'cause some of us pay attention to spelling and grammar....

I'm gonna' need you to dumb that down a bit for me, Kaylee. It won't let me vote. And I presume, much like the democratic party, if I *did* vote, it would tell me my votes don't matter.
Or is it just becuase I've written all the content on the site thus far? Will it not let me vote on my own stuff? I suppose that makes sense.
Would that someone else would write and post something so I can check out my revolutionary new theory....
....Alas, I fear that day will never come....[sigh]

Democracy is hard.
You click the star corresponding to the rating you want to give the article. I gave it three stars arbitrarily.
As to where that drop down came from, I have no idea.
Oh, and you get points for voting.

So the 'voting' thing is a snazzy feature. How does it work? I mean, how do I vote if I feel like it? It doesn't seem immediately apparent to me how it'd work. The way online voting works in my neighborhood is: first you find a broken pot, you write "Yes" or "No" on the potshard if you're voting on an issue, or a name if you've voting for a candidate, and then you drop your potshard in a basket. Then someone counts everyone's shards. It's traditional. So I've got my shard, and I've written my votes on it, but damned if I can find a basket to drop them in online....
