Some more old friends and enemies pop out of the woodwork; there's a shooting, there's Kryptonite, there's Luthors and we learn Tess's actual name.

Lutessa Luthor.

Yeah.   Don't worry, it's not as bad as all that.

EPISODE REVIEW: Smallville: Luthor (Season 10, Episode 10)

sysadmin 2.0's picture

Tonight, the ol' parallel universe trope gets trotted out so that we can all see what Clark would be like if he were raised by Lionel Luthor.

Good question, because we don't get to see a lot of THAT Clark. But we do get to see an interesting alternate vision of what might've been: a place where Ultraman reigns.

When Hayata raises the beta capsule, he becomes Ultraman… but not this Ultraman.

Tonight, the Smallville stunt casting tradition continues with Teri "Lois and Clark" Hatcher and Helen "Supergirl" Slater playing the parents of our generation's version of Lois and Clark.

Yeah, both our main characters have Mommy issues…. so naturally, we have to introduce a Granny… Granny Goodness, minion of Darkseid.

Tonight, we get an adversary that Clark may not be able to defeat: a challenge that many men never overcome. The Potential Father-In-Law. And when that Potential Father-In-Law is General Sam Lane (played by Michael Freakin' Ironside), we might genuinely fear for Clark.

At least more than than we did last week.

Complete recap below- and as usual, spoilers abound!

"Are you kidding? It's like dating a God… or Bono!"- Lois Lane
I'm glad Lois was enthusiastic about this episode, because I really wasn't.

Why do I think this is this season's first clunker?
Well, look no farther.

EPISODE REVIEW: Smallville: "Isis" (Season 10, Episode 6)

sysadmin 2.0's picture

After last week's stunning ratings victory (Smallville won it's time slot.  Really rare for a CW show), we get some more movement on the Lois and Clark and the Blur relationship front.

So, with the magic words: "Oh, Mighty Isis", school teacher Andrea Thomas

oops. Reporter Lois Lane becomes the goddess Isis...

(But this time, she doesn't have to recite a rhyme to fly...)
