Shows in Imminent Danger of Cancellation

(Un)BREAKING NEWS: Ok, so maybe T2.5 isn't cancelled after all...but it probably will be; Dollhouse too.

Last week I reported that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (AKA the far punchier "T2.5") was dead, gone, cancelled, toast. Turns out that it's only *probably* dead according to Brian Austin Green, AKA "Unky Reese." The gist of his interview here is some speculation about where the story would go in the third season, and a confirmation of the fact that the show is assuming there are *multiple* possible futures that all co-exist with each other.

TV REVIEW: Kings: Insurrection

I cannot get over how consistently excellent this show is. There's a magic to the language, to the performances, to the plotting, to the cinematography--- all far better than we deserve.

Tonight is no exception. King Silas faces an insurrection and sends David in to quell it singlehandedly.

If that were the whole story, it'd still be compelling. However, add into the mix Silas' plans AROUND the insurrection, The Queen's observations, The King's loss, The Prince's machinations and the Princess's uncanny ability to get to the wrong place at the wrong time, and WOW.

EPISODE REVIEWS: Kings: "Prosperity" (Episode 2)

This is my second attempt at a review, because I spent 49 minutes writing the first one only to push the wrong button and wipe it all out. Disheartened, this will probably been more terse than my usual go round.

TV Review: Dollhouse: Man on the Street

Okay. Dollhouse got a bit of a ratings bounce last week, and if those viewers returned this week, boy did they get a treat. This 'mythology' (why oh why do they call story arc elements 'mythology'?) heavy episode pays off multiple elements and propels a new status quo forward.

And was it good? .

Quite frankly, this episode knocked my socks off, and I was still in my tennis shoes.

We learn a lot of cool things...

Seriously, go to and watch the episode. Really.

Are you still there? You've been warned!

EPISODE REVIEWS: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: “The Good Wound” (Season 2, Episode 14)

Bless me father, for I have sinned: It’s been Five Months (And 11 episodes) since I last watched The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I apologize. To be honest, I don’t know why I don’t watch the show. I really like it. I really do. It’s clever, well acted, well paced, it has a nice tension to it, I generally dig the soundtrack, there’s some great characters and a wonderful twisty oily kind of plot that I frequently can’t predict. I love it.
