EPISODE REVIEW: Batman:The Brave and the Bold: Revenge of the Reach (Season 2, Episode 3)

Okay, I'm sorry. I got to this one late... but as usual, Cartoon Network isn't fantastic about letting people know when their new shows are airing. That, and they are obviously more enamored of the Marvel Super Hero Squad, which (for the record) stinks like roadkill on ice. OH! It's awful, and that's not just because I prefer DC.

Anyway- a few of my favorite characters, and a team we've not seen in a long time...

More after the jump!

MOVIE REVIEWS: “Green Lantern: First Flight (2009)

The DC Comics direct to DVD animated spectaculars continue with the origin of Green Lantern. "Wait!" you say, "Didn't we just see the origin of Green Lantern two movies ago in 'Justice League:The New Frontier'"? Well, yes we did. And no we didn't....

(I'm going to try to make this as 'Spoiler Light' as possible, so I'm going to gloss a bit over the traditional Republibot Play by Play)

There are still spoilers, but I try to keep the particulars obscured...

TEASER: Smallville:Total Justice

Below the jump, we have the teaser for the Total Justice Smallville movie that has now been moved to the beginning of November Sweeps.

This is becoming even more interesting as it approaches: It started as one episode, got expanded to two, made into a TV movie and now moved from January to February. This sort of move indicates that the CW execs are very excited about this Smallville project and might indicate some sort of new life for this series. If it does well, I'd anticipate an early renewal announcement and/or a continuation or spinoff series.

TV REVIEW: Batman: The Brave and the Bold:The Eyes of Despero!

"On Arbor Day

Not since "The Green Loontern" have we seen so many Green Lanterns on screen. Oh yeah, and Batman too....

The 'before the teaser hero' (I Need to find a better term for that) was Doctor Fate. Although I like Fate, the whole sequence felt like a foregone conclusion.

(I'll be here all week, don't forget to engage in waitress tipping)
