DC UPDATE: Arrow Trailer Released

Wil Avitt's picture

Warner Bros and the CW have released the first footage of what could end up being one of the best shows of the new fall season, Arrow. If you're unaware, Arrow is based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, first made popular on television played by Justin Hartley on Smallville. Make no mistake, Arrow is NOT a Smallville spin-off. They share no continuity, as you will see in the trailer.

EPISODE REVIEW: SMALLVILLE: Disciple (Season 9, Episode 10)

sysadmin 2.0's picture

Green Arrow faces his old archery teacher-- who looks nothing like my old archery teacher.  I mean, the coach was a nice guy, but he didn't say anything about ancient celtic cults or dress up in a leather hoodie.  And he preferred fiberglass arrows to wooden ones.

I digress.  I'm supposed to review the episode, not play remember when I was the Dork Archer...

I am battling against the dying of the laptop battery... do I make it?

More, and spoilerific goodness, after the jump...

This week, the Teen Titans Sidekicks form and take on the Serpent's Head, Ra's Al Ghul. Was this version of the Titans as good as the old Anime series?

Well, yes.

I liked it. R3 is probably wondering where Beast Boy and Starfire are, though.

"Better brace ourselves... this could be deeply disturbing."- Batman

Catwoman and the Psycho Pirate!
I wonder if Batman shows up for his own show THIS week.
No musical numbers this week, so I declare it safe for Republibot 3.0---

No spoilers this time, kids. Nothing to spoil.

Because I have a life, I missed the first half of Smallville tonight… and my primitive time shifting equipment malfunctioned badly. Soo, we're going to see how much I can figure out from just watching the last half of the episode. Don't worry folks (and those of you who use my reviews for the recaps…. welcome!) I'll watch the whole episode online when it's posted and update this… We'll see how close I get!

The fastest reviews of Smallville online continue- tonight, we're treated to a premise predicated by the love theme from Superman: The Motion Picture. Yes, tonight, Clark develops telepathy.

So, Can You Read My Mind? If you can, you'll know how much I'm grateful that the song never made it into the episode...
