Episode Review: V – Serpent's Tooth (Season 2, Episode 3)

Republibot 1.0's picture

Ok, here we go. Back for a shortened (thankfully) season of reviews of this terrible, terrible show. Sorry I missed last week, I will try to loop back and review the season premiere as soon as I can get my hands on it. My only prayer this year is that it doesn’t get canceled mid-season and then they dump all of the remaining episodes into one marathon back to back showing all at once, like Syfy did with Caprica. I honestly don’t think I would be able to survive that.

"V" Episode Review Coming Soon

Republibot 1.0's picture

Hi - R3 has asked me to shoulder the very heavy responsibility of reviewing the second season of "V" right here on Republibot. I am running a little behind schedule though because my Tuesday evenings are generally a mess. I have the show DVRed, I was hoping to find it streaming online, but ABC doesn't seem to understand clearly that concept.

So, check back this evening and I will have it up. If anyone knows if there is any legal place online the Season Opener is streaming, I would appreciate being pointed there. I knew the season was kicking off again soon, but didn't see any promos for it in my sheltered little world.

In the meantime feel free to join me on Facebook as I attempt to write a new joke about the Large Hadron Collider every day right here: Jokes About The Large Hadron Collider (without Sexual Overtones)

EPISODE REVIEW: Batman: The Brave and the Bold: "Darkseid Descending!"

This week, the Justice League gets a reboot just in time to face Darkseid.  Oddly enough, this also seems to be the plot for next week's Smallville.

Different League, different rules, right?

EPISODE REVIEW: Smallville: Luthor (Season 10, Episode 10)

sysadmin 2.0's picture

Tonight, the ol' parallel universe trope gets trotted out so that we can all see what Clark would be like if he were raised by Lionel Luthor.

Good question, because we don't get to see a lot of THAT Clark. But we do get to see an interesting alternate vision of what might've been: a place where Ultraman reigns.

When Hayata raises the beta capsule, he becomes Ultraman… but not this Ultraman.

EPISODE REVIEW: The Event: "Everything Will Change"(Season 1, Episode 11)

Tonight marks the 'Fall Finale' of The Event, and a large missile has been launched… does the show end with a bang, or a girly whimper.

Well, no nukes were harmed in the production of this episode...

EPISODE REVIEW: The Event: "Your World To Take" (Season 1, Episode 9)

sysadmin 2.0's picture

This week, I actually got to watch on the big TV. Was It worth it? And will I remain unbanished?

Well, that's a question for next week, honestly.

As for this week, we learn a lot about the Non-Terrestrials. We even get an N.T. convention!

EPISODE REVIEW: Smallville: "Patriot" (Season 10, Episode 9)

Aquaman and his wife, Mera show up to blow more stuff up.  Naturally Clark has to get involved, but does Aquaman have the right idea?  And Oliver gets waterboarded.  (A little.)

Full recap below the jump.  That means there are spoilers.   Don't blame me for your lack of self control....
