Well, I'll tell you ... after the jump.

As usual, I'll spoil the heck out of it.

EPISODE REVIEW: Eureka: “What Goes Around, Comes Around” (Season 3, Episode 18)

wolf's picture

So we’ve come to the end of this long and strange season of Eureka and I must say that this episode felt much more like a series finale. It tied so much of the hanging plot strings up in the last two or three episodes (including this one) that you find yourself wondering where they’re going to go when the fourth season starts. So let’s just dive right into it shall we.

EPISODE REVIEW: Eureka: “Have an Ice Day” (Season 3, Episode 17)

wolf's picture

Welcome back to the Eureka reviews after a nice week long furlough (sorry, I’m from California, we’ve been hearing that word a lot lately), apparently so that SyFy could run a rather strange Eureka marathon last week as the opening for their “I can’t believe we got paid to make this crap” B movie labor day marathon.

EPISODE REVIEW: Eureka: "You Don't Know Jack" (Season 3, Episode 16)

wolf's picture

Wow, I’m so disappointed in this last episode. I actually think that it might be the worst episode of Eureka I’ve ever seen. I know that part of that stems from the above average arc that just finished up but the other part of it is the fact that some genius decided to do a clip show (which I personally vehemently despise) which just wasn’t very good. Then you add the strangeness that my DVR was telling me that this was the season finale even though wikipedia lists two more episodes after this.

EPISODE REVIEW: Eureka: "Shower the People." (Season 3, Episode 15)

wolf's picture

Well, another week and another Eureka. This week marks the end of the signal meta-story. And while I’m rather disappointed in it ending, my disappointment stems from the writers ending such a promising meta-story so soon (though there seemed countless directions it could go) rather than the way they ended it. It wasn’t your typical Eureka story and in many ways that is what made it so darn good. In the past Eureka has flirted with the darker, drama oriented side of the dramedy scale only to come running back to the lighter slapstick side like a dog with its tail on fire.

EPISODE REVIEW: Eureka: "Ship Happens" (Season 3, Episode 14

wolf's picture

This episode continues from almost exactly where last weeks left off. And that being the case, there is definitely more of a drama feeling to it all from the standard Eureka comedy. Not that there is no comedy in this episode, only that the comedy is toned down from where it normally is in an episode like “It’s Not Easy Being Green”.
