EPISODE REVIEW: Dollhouse: “The Attic” (Season 2, Episode 10)

Last time - like an hour ago - as you’ll recall, Dollhouse more-or-less concluded that true love has a kind of eternal heft, regardless of the memories or circumstances surrounding it, it is a direct connection between souls (Even though Topher doesn’t believe in the soul). The show also concluded that the sum of what we are is greater than the total of the part, though in Echo’s case, you know, she’s got a lot of extra parts in her head, so she’s kind of greater still, way greater than average, kinda’ blowing the bell curve for the rest of us.

Last week - by which I mean five minutes ago, before the last commercial break - you’ll recall that Echo and Paul returned to the Dollhouse as part of some larger scheme that wasn’t revealed. As it’s a cold night and my carpal tunnel is acting up, I’ll just jump right into it without my normal coy introductions.

PLAY BY PLAY

An ex-millionaire in a trailer home is talking to someone unseen about how he blew all his money on The Dollhouse. Alas, the unseen man turns out to be Alpha, who kills the man.

EPISODE REVIEW: Dollhouse: “Meet Jane Doe” (Season 2, Episode 7)

Last week, as you’ll recall, a whole heapin’ hell of a lot of stuff went down because Fox is burning off episodes of this show two at a time in the Friday Night Death Slot, in the midst of the Christmas Doldrums when everyone is on the road or vacation or shopping like crazy or driving around looking at the lights, or doing whatever the hell it is that people do this time of year, rather than watching TV. (My wife, for instance, is in the Christmas play at church rather than watching TV. I, for instance, am watching my wife in the Christmas play at church, rather than watching TV.
