Answering the request from Kevin Long that he made here: <a href="http://republibot.com/node/5878">Would You Like To Write For Republibot?</a> and addressing the concern that SF is "too Liberal," as claimed here:  <a href="http://republibot.com/node/6213">SF Is Full Of Liberal Hypocrites</a> , I shall write a sometime review of new SF and a little Fantasy that is interesting and rational.

YouTube Science or Why We Don't Need a New Cosmos

In the discussions here and on the wider web about the new version of Cosmos, many people recall fondly how the original Cosmos ("TOC" as Kevin Long is calling it) instilled in them a feeling of wonder, the "wow" of science, and got them to realize that we are part of the universe and the universe is part of us. Thumbs up for all of that. The Carl Sagan Cosmos was just in the right time and place. There were essentially only 3 1/2 networks and TOC was on the 1/2 network that had a few shows a year that impacted people across America.

Review: Arrow "Suicide Squad" S2E16

Well, I had asked earlier if the John Diggle character would get some time in the limelight again, and it turns out he does. This week’s episode focuses on Diggle being recruited by his ex-wife’s agency “Advanced Research Group United Support” A.R.G.U.S (which came first, SHIELD or ARGUS?) to go after an Afghani WMD dealer that they had captured earlier when they were on active duty, with Ben Browder, “John Crichton” from Farscape and some time on some of the Star Gate series.
